As a consultant, I have worked full or part-time for six well known firms, and provided both training and consulting services worldwide for a major computer aided dispatch vendor. I have been directly involved in the planning and execution of dispatch center/EOC construction, major radio upgrades, CAD and console replacement, among others
As a consultant, I have worked full or part-time for six well known firms, and provided both training and consulting services worldwide for a major computer aided dispatch vendor. I have been directly involved in the planning and execution of dispatch center/EOC construction, major radio upgrades, CAD and console replacement, among others. I created a 9-1-1 system that served in excess of 1,000 miles, helped create CALEA, APCO, and state standards.
As a trainer, I've presented to thousands of individuals, both in person and by the web. I have spoken at numerous state, federal, and international conferences, including Firehouse, APCO, and CALEA. Additionally, I co-authored the NY State Basic Telecommunicator Course which served as the basis for the original APCO classwork. My presentation at APCO 2023 was reviewed with nothing but positive comments, and according to one attendee, "Hands down the most entertaining, engaging and honest presenter of the whole convention."
